A Typical Day for LAA Students

Job Market

Legal Administrative Assistant Program (LAA)

The full-time Legal Administrative Assistant Program consists of six legal courses, daily typing speed and accuracy development, and a practicum in a legal environment. Classes are held from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday each week.

Class size is limited to 20 students. Computer labs are networked and there is a computer for each student.

Daily Class Schedule:
8 a.m. - 12 noon
Legal lecture and discussion
Review of previous day's legal assignments
1 - 3:15 p.m.
Work on legal assignments on computer
noon - 1 p.m.
Lunch
Homework: About 2 hours per night
